My village, Babylon Village, is a rich source for any photographer. The sunrises, the beach, the bridge, the skies, the village, it's all right here. As you can see, I'm especially fond of the house on Argyle Pond and the reflections, whether in daylight or moonlight. Spectacular!

Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Great River on the South Shore of Long Island. Beautiful views, lawns, the geese, the river and the Osprey. Oh, and trees and flowers too!

I'm addicted to running down to Fire Island or Robert Moses Beach before dawn to see what happens. Sometimes it's the sunrise that captures my attention, or a fox or deer. Other times its just the beach itself and the amazing fortitude of the fishermen who rise so early and brave the cold and the waves. I am so lucky to live so close to such picturesque scenes.

Fire Island has so much to offer ... the beach, the docks and piers, including Captree, the deer, the fishing and of course the lighthouse. I love wandering down there at sunrise because there is always something different that catches my eye.
