I'm addicted to running down to Fire Island or Robert Moses Beach before dawn to see what happens. Sometimes it's the sunrise that captures my attention, or a fox or deer. Other times its just the beach itself and the amazing fortitude of the fishermen who rise so early and brave the cold and the waves.

I am so lucky to live so close to such picturesque scenes.
